Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel ★★★★★

The pool is so relaxing and so beautiful with the frangipani trees. And the bed is super comfy!!

Just a small complaint, the blind in the bathroom is broken. I asked the staff to fix it, they didn't. Too bad.

The staff are very kind, nice and responsive. They gave me complimentary ride to airport. Quite well located and a lot of restaurants and mini market around the hotel

The air cond keeps going off every few hours.

The location of the property is perfect for vacation. There is a club next to the Hotel, sharing the same wall. So it may be difficult for light sleepers and people who are looking for peace. The party goes on until 3 a.m Everything you require is at walking distance. The staff is good and the hotel is neat.

We didn’t like that the house keeping cleaned the room while we were at the spa upstairs. All our stuff was open. So that was a bit uncomfortable.

could do with a little bit of care, a couple of things seemed to be getting a bit run down like the shower heads and faucet over the bathroom sink

The bed is probably the comfiest bed I ever did sleep in, the breakfast, the pool

Very central location, friendly & helpful staff, quick service, pool with waterfall fountain making it a very tranquil place to lay about!

I wasn't aware there was a nightclub/bar next door. The first night I did not sleep as the music was blaring and the strobe laser lights kept me up until 4 in the morning. I wold not have booked the hotel if I knew this. I should have done my research beforehand. Not the hotels fault. Also our rooms were generally clean and tidy, but I think it needed a good spring clean! there were cobwebs on one of the walls and dust on top of the bed head material wall. I would have thought this would have been noticed by the staff. The bathroom didn't have a good draining system. Every time we showered (in the bath) the water would seep out through the sides of the bath and fall onto bathroom floor leaving huge puddle . We had to use all our towels to soak up the water and needed double the daily towels.

The pool area was relaxing and the rooms were very clean. Shower had great pressure and was perfect temperature.

Had to move room as our fridge did not work and the sliding door to the balcony didn’t lock. The air conditioner wasn’t that cold. Room seems smaller than the photos.

Lovely pool which had a small section for children, with a fun super tube. Great food at roof top restaurant.

Noise for the night club next door made our evening time unpleasant as we had our 5 year old with us and sleep time is important. The kids club was not fully operational but they did try accommodate.

My flight home was cancelled so I needed somewhere to stay for a night. The hotel was quite close to Seminyak and fine for the night. A more extended stay would have been fine too if needed. All the usual amenities were there and the room was comfortable.

The aircon in the room was quite loud, but I could sleep with it on.

The gym was terrible. Equipment didn't work ie treadmill staff at reception confirmed this. They had 3 to 4 machines not worthy of the title gym.

The location to the beach clubs are superb! Didn't take longer than 10 minutes to get there. Very clean rooms and huge bed. Arrived much earlier than expected so couldn't check in. They allowed me at their VIP a/c lounge where I rested for 2 hours. Amazing :)

The lights in the room are pretty dim. Great if they could add more lighting

The pool is very beautiful. I enjoyed the lush greenery and the waterfall and the cleanliness of the pool. They had towel rental (free to guests). I also liked the natural light in my room. Nice that the tv had several cable channels. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft.

Breakfast was not included , which I am a little dumbfounded since I paid about 4 times more than I normally would have at other budget locations where breakfast was included. I was surprised that the room was not prepared for a guest. There were no hand towels or toilet paper -- I had to call guest services. Also when I arrived (it was very hot), I asked for some water and they pointed to a water tower that clearly had been there all day with the same mint leaves and standing water. The water was gross and I asked for some cold water. It took several times of pleading and an entire 15-20 minutes to get that water. It was not a good start. Once I got to my room and wanted to shower, I realized the rooms were probably older than the lobby of the building and with the updates they were a bit strange layout. The shower water pressure was not great, and the way that the tub was caulked, the water still splashes against a glass window and then splashes everywhere and makes a puddle on the floor.

Main pool area was great. Rooftop pool area was nice also even if it does need a bit of updating. Beds in the room were very comfortable also.

Room had a constant smell throughout my stay, no windows in the room to open to let fresh air in. Bathroom area was very unclean. Stains throughout.

- Staff are very friendly and helpful, always there when you need them - Asked for a quiet room since most reviews were complaining about the loud noise from club, and Alex gave us a quiet room

- Breakfast was really below expectations. We paid extra to include the breakfast but tried it only once and never returned. To start with, the smell when you enter the breakfast area, the selectiom of food, the way how they prepare the eggs all in the same pan very unhygienic - The 'infinity' pool looks so much bigger on picture then reality. There are only 6 sunbeds for such a big hotel, doesn't make any sense If you have 50 or 100 euros more to spend, I suggest book a boutique hotel!
